need help on spending money for orlando florida, please..?

my family and i 2 parents and our 2 daughters are going to florida in august.we choose not to purchase the thyme park tickets from the travel agent as we were told we would get them cheeper there. we are staying for three weeks. was this the right decision. also how much spending money will we need for the duration? do not want to scrimp but enjoy our once in a life time hol. can someone please help me as i need to start putting money away. also has anyone been to the Dolphin swim in discovery cove? is it good? worth the money. please help. many thanks

Authority of Rent a Cop?

My wife works for a privately owned hospital (as opposed to a county hospital) I dropped her off for work. The way the hospital is built, parking garages are on one side of Laporte Avenue, and the hospital is on the other side. Laporte is a City owned public street. There are pedestrian crossings with little portable stop signs every 10 feet for about 50 feet of this road. If nobody is there, I dont stop for them. I know its illegal and I dont care. Today, a HOSPITAL RENT A COP saw me do this before i dropped my wife off. After I left, He went into the office my wife works for and asked who had a gold grand am? they all played dumb. But he said they would keep lookin for my car so they could call the real cops to issue a ticket. Three questions / issues here:
1. Do Hospital rent-a-cops that are privately hired have the authority to use hospital owned vehicles to iniate traffic stops on a public roadway, even if that roadway runs by the hospital? The color of their lights on their vehicles is Orange facing forward, orange and red to the rear, and White Strobe lights.
2. Can The city police issue tickets based on the word of a rent a cop, without actually catching someone in the act? Would this ticket have a chance at standing up should I fight it?
3. Can my wife be disciplined or fired based on actions I do as a driver, I do not work for the hospital.
I know what I am doing is Illegal, that is not the question here.
According to my wife who I just spoke with on the phone, the hospital security guards have been looking for my car in her parking lot all day for me to come get her. I don't understand why they are acting like this is a federal offense to run a few fake stop signs

I need serious advice here I don't want to go to jail again!!?

I'm an 18 year old girl, and I got arrested on last Friday night because I got caught with alcohol and tobacco in my car I live right on the Utah/Arizona border so I bought the cigs in AZ but I got a citation in for them because u have to be 19 in UT. It was around 11:30 pm which is an hour after the curfew here. I was with a friend who is going to turn 18 in a month but he was under age so when the cops pulled up he jumped out and ran cuz he'd already been in trouble with the law, was on probation and couldn't afford to get another ticket, the cops saw him run but didn't know who he was, I wouldn't tell them who he was so I got arrested for Minor Possession of Alcohol and Tobacco and Obstruction of Justice (not telling them) and 2 parking violations. I was in Jail for 24 hours and my Dad bailed me out But I have to go to court this week sometime and I dont plan on telling who was with me... k this kid is my boyfriend and I dont want him in trouble!!
anyway... Will I end up in jail again?
Whats going to happen if I refuse to tell the judge?
Should I tell him the cops are full of it that they really didn't see anyone?
aaaah I'm really freaking out so if you could offer me ANY advice or know the consequences please help me out!!
Rock Firestorm- Lol dude I'm not on probation, I've never had a ticket before this. And yeah my boyfriend is on probation but every other damn teenager is to! That doesn't justify it, I know. and u can understand me not wanting him to get into more trouble because he is almost off probation so I'll do anything to help him k? And I'm sure I will go to jail if I deserve it but personally, I don't think I did anything to horrible for me to end up there. Thanks for your advice :)

Golden.. What u say is true... unfortunately. There's no other way for me to explain.. I'm insecure and I would have so many people upset with me and jail just seems less intimidating..... O goodness I'm a frickin pushover!! what a awesome group of friends i have too.. ugh! and also, if i tell the judge who it was.. I'll get a contributing to minor's ticket and that would just help matters..

84 Dollar parking ticked at Cronulla for not parking in reverse! Are you kidding me!?

I got a ticket at the car par at Cronulla Beach in NSW for not parking in reverse. For one, I would have if there was a sign clearly stating that there would be an 84 dollar fine imposed if you do not park in reverse. Second this is clearly unjustifiable! This is more then a speeding ticket. What can be done to either lower or have the fine dropped? Insane.

Also asked him bout sponsoring Tiger Woods told me contract only for $5m a year $75m he wud have to win all the majors hence Tiger rejected it and its all about boosting his online poker site!! He reckons thats where big money is in US. He gave me tickets to Sandown asked me to meet him for few pints i was like yeah sure but cant go unfort have to work weekend in order to have chelt off

P.S this aint a joke Tickets say Grandstand Enclosure price £0.00 and as its Paddy power Imperial Cup day no wonder he has so many tickets to throw away!!

Am I innocent in this parking citation?

I purchased a used truck in dec. 09. A week later I got a citation for illegal parking. The citation read "parked on street with expired registration." I did not see the cop. He left the ticket under my wiper.
My truck was parked on the street at my house. Nothing illegal about this. But my rear license plate still had the july 09 tags on them. When I purchased the truck a week prior, I also paid the registration for it at the same time. The "used vehicle dealer notice/temporary identification" paper was properly displayed on the right side of the windshield.
Isn't this paper proof that my registration was paid? Either the cop failed to notice this paper or disregarded it.
I chose to contest the violation. I wrote a letter explaining all the details and included proof of my current receipt for registration, the temporary that was displayed on my window, and the receipt for the truck purchase.
Two months later, I receive a letter from the city issuing the ticket that read "We have received the information you submitted to contest the above violation. After careful review we have determined that the citation is valid."
So my questions are:
Am I innocent?
Did they make a mistake?
Should I pay the $136 fine?
Should I request a hearing?

Did Nascar go to far again?

To make people think that this season was going to be different Nascar said we are going to let the drivers settle their differences on the track! Old School Racing they have been calling it. To increase ticket sales and marketability.
That is exactly what Carl Edwards did yesterday! First thing I heard was park it and report to the trailer.
So is Nascar really going to let the drivers settle their own problems with each other or was that just another brain fart on their part?
For those of you who think that Carl crossed a line in this new policy, where is that line? I ask that because even the smallest amount of (old school) payback contact can result in a whale of a mess!

Secaucus Junction and Penn Station?

When you pay at the Secaucus Park & Ride does that cover both your parking and train fare or do you have to buy a riding ticket separately? Also, does the train between Secaucus & Penn Station usually leave/arrive at the same location in the stations?

Where does the bail money go to?

It just popped in my head today. People can get released from jail if someone pays the bail. Where exactly does that money go, and I don't really agree with the fact someone gets released on bail. I hate the fact that its just about the money. Even parking tickets get me going because again its about the money.

I have never flown before. Are airports user friendly?

I am not sure exactly what to do. I know I have to buy a ticket online. Then we show up at the airport in July. Then what do we do? I do know its free parking.
its a very small airport in Illinois and yep..the parking is free. I called and found out this morning.

I have a family of 7 (5 kids). and was wondering if anyone knew the cheapest way to go on a Disney vacation was. We would be staying at a resort. Any ideas? also any ideas on how to save money when it comes to buying park tickets. Thanks!

Is all of this stuff about "public safety" just a load of B.S.?

My sleepy little Southern town has just become a speed trap. We have those "white vans" parked all over the place that issue speeding tickets through the mail. Lately, we started having little robots that do the same thing. The mayor says it's all about public safety. Thing is, they are only on the busiest road, and NEVER in neighborhoods or in front of playgrounds or parks. I think it's all about the Benjamins, and nothing else. What do you think?

I am so confused. Need help with guys.?

I have a boyfriend. He is cute and quiet. He is good to keep me under control. We have only been going out for about a month. But, I'm stil in love with my ex. I used to think when we broke up, it was for the better, but now, with every passing day I compare my recent bf to him. My ex always seems better. We were kind of forced to breakup(on Christmas). He is 17, and he was driving only with a permit for so long. He got caught with his lights on in a parking lot. He got a ticket and the car impounded. His family was ready to leave him on the streets, but they made him pay for the piece of shit truck they impounded. He paid way more than the truck was worth. That money was supposed to go to college. I don't think he is going anymore. He said that he bought me an $800 necklace for Christmas and the cops stole it. I dont know if that is true or not. He told me that a little over a month ago. When he talked to me then I didn't feel the need to be with him again. Wihtout a car and not being allowed to drive one, we couldn't see eachother. We had been together for about 6 months. I don't know if he still loves me like I love him or if he has found someone new. I'm afraid of the answer. My parents hate him, too. Should I leave it and keep my new bf, or go back and finish what I started?

Question #16:

Do you think I can contest this lame parking ticket?

I got a ticket for 'parking prohibited' last night for parking on a road that did have the kiosk meters but had a sign that said No Parking (Press Only). It was outside a large building which I suppose must be a court and that's why they have the press parking. My argument is, I don't know of any court proceedings that occur Saturday at 11:02PM. It's a $51 ticket, here in the lovely city of Philadelphia. Do I have a chance on appealing this ticket on the grounds that I wasn't inconveniencing anyone since no press would use the spot that late on a weekend? And PS I did put money in the kiosk, enough for 2 hrs and picked it up before 1:30 hrs were over.

But you guys do see my logic right? the handicapped comment isnt correct because a handicapped person could come at any time but he court isnt even OPEN that late!!

Would I be able to experience both Universal Orlando parks in one day? (Read discription)?

I have a 1 Day 2 Park access ticket with a Express Pass to Universal Orlando....Do you think I will have enough time to go through both parks in one day? Keep in mind that im going in late May. Any help would be appreciated.

Disney World...is it worth purchasing a Park Hopper ticket or just go with the base tickets?

I have not been to Disney in many years. In the process of planning a trip for my six year old and I. Is it worth paying extra for the park hopper tickets?

I could see us starting out in Magic Kingdom in the morning and then maybe heading back to the hotel in the afternoon for a nap or swim...then hitting a park in the evening. I have only been to Magic Kingdom...can you spend an entire day at Disney Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, and Epcot...or could we easily do one of those parks in a half day?

Got caught hot boxing by police. Yeah, judge me all you want, I know I'm stupid, just please answer this.?

I got caught last night, by the police, hot boxing with two of my friends (we're all 17). We had about half a gram of marijuana and we were in a private parking lot in Cook County. We got our tickets, totaling $150, but I'm just wondering, will this appear on my credit history? Will my high school be notified about this? If it does appear on my credit history, how will that affect any future jobs I might want to pursue?

how long does a parking attendent have to observe before issuing a ticket?

London.. Came abt 5min late for pay n display and there was already a fine on the windscreen (£80, £40 if paid within 14days). It states "observed from 12:20 - 12:21. Dont they have to observe more then 1min?? It takes more then that just to get the ticket from the machine sumtimes.. anyways shud i try n apeal or just pay them?
